Couples typically book 8-12 months in advance, but our availability is “first-come, first serve” so we recommend booking sooner rather than later. Live streaming is often booked as an “emergency purchase” but if you have a known need, we recommend booking far in advance of your date.

Yep! We even give you a discount for combining photography, videography, and live streaming packages.

If the wedding day runs a bit long, we just charge an hourly rate and request payment before photos are delivered.

Cancelling: Up until 2 weeks before your wedding, we refund your entire package amount minus the non-refundable retainer.
Rescheduling: We do our best to be flexible around your new date and if it’s more than a year away, we charge a fee that reflects our yearly price increases.

Yes! If Dale and Lydia are already shooting a wedding on your date, we will assign a team member who fits your vibe and who we trust to capture the day perfectly.

Super easy! All we need is a signed contract and 50% retainer to book your date (full package amount for only live streaming).

Absolutely. Our pricing system is designed so you can pick the things that are most important to you and avoid paying for things you don’t care about.

We are based in Seattle Washington and travel all over the world. Travel pricing is estimated based on your wedding date and location.

Most weddings required a minimum of 8 hours, with the exception of micro-weddings or elopements.

We will never leave you hanging on your wedding day. Even through COVID, we always made sure we found quality replacements to shoot for us in case of emergencies.

Questions about Photography

Sneak peeks are delivered within a few days of the wedding and your full gallery is typically delivered within 6-10 weeks after the wedding date.

Upbeat elegance. We prefer natural colors, natural movement, and natural lighting. We have a candid posing style that helps capture authentic moments in a flattering way without being overly posed or manufactured.

Yep! We help orchestrate your family photos so everyone feels good and looks even better.

We typically recommend a second shooter if your timeline or locations necessitate it, but the base package doesn’t include one by default because it’s not always needed.

Your photos are delivered in a high quality digital gallery that allows you to 1) Create your own collections 2) Share collections with others 3) Print albums directly from your gallery.

Every image is color graded to provide a consistent, beautiful style. Retouching occurs on a case-by-case basis and extra retouching is also available on request for an additional fee.

Absolutely. We typically recommend it to help build a relationship prior to the wedding day and help you get comfortable on camera.

We generally tend to shoot more candid/documentary style and less “editorial” vibes than some photographers.

Most people aren’t naturally comfortable with being in front of a camera for 8 hours. We provide guidance throughout the day so you know exactly what to do and we also provide you with a posing guide in advance so you know the basics.

Mix of both. We prefer to use natural light unless the situation requires it or would look better with flash.

We review your list in advance and organize the groups to create the most efficient flow possible so you can get back to the party.

General rule of thumb is about 100 photos per hour of coverage, but this varies depending on your timeline and schedule of activities.

It’s a mix of both. Some photos look better in black and white and others don’t. For photos that we turn monochrome, we almost always provide the color version as well.

Most couples work with us because they want our artistic preference and like our style. If our vibe doesn’t feel up your alley, we might not be the right fit for you.

Sometimes we use the natural light to capture the ambience. Sometimes we use a flash. Other times we use video lights to provide constant lighting.
Questions about Wedding Films

Your videos are delivered via a customized online viewing page where you can view and download your films for up to 10 years.

Absolutely. An engagement film or love story can be an amazing addition to your wedding website, rehearsal dinner, or the wedding itself.

First we cull through the footage to find the best shots. Then we look at the audio and put together a cohesive story. Then we find a song that fits your wedding and put all the elements together. Our goal is to create an emotional film that tells your unique story.

Years of experience allow us to quickly discern whether a moment contributes to the story of your day or not. Generally we pick moments with lots of emotion that give the viewer insight on what the wedding day was like.

Yep! We have several ways of capturing audio to make sure everything is crystal clear for your film.

Music licensing is both tricky and potentially expensive. We pay for licensing services and most couples trust us to find music that fits their wedding. That being said, if we chose your high school breakup song by sheer coincidence, just let us know :)

One videographer is usually sufficient for most weddings but we may recommend a second shooter if your timeline includes multiple location changes or fast transitions.

Yep! As long as the venue, airspace, and weather cooperate. We love a good epic drone shot!

We record the ceremony, speeches, and dances from multiple cameras in their entirety. That way we can pick out the best bits and you have the option to purchase a full-length edit later if you’d like.

Absolutely. We’re very conscious of “camera fatigue” and work alongside your photographer (especially if WE are your photographer) to keep the day stress-free.

We like to capture the natural ambience of the room except in the case of speeches or dances, in which case we prefer to use video lights.

Questions About Live Streaming

Our base live streaming package covers most traditional ceremonies. We can also create a custom package for you based on your specific needs.

First we create a private, custom viewing page so your guests can watch your wedding live from anywhere in the world.
On the wedding day, an onsite producer captures every angle of your big day using 3–4 high-quality cameras, seamlessly switching between them for the best possible coverage.
We even incorporate your DJ’s audio or use our own professional microphones to ensure every word and every moment is heard loud and clear.
Plus, you can personalize your experience with add-ons like a Digital Guest Book, Virtual Guest Interviews, 4K recording, and more!

No worries at all! We’ve stream in 15 different states and never had an issue with connectivity.
We use hotspots from every major US carrier along with cellular bonding technology that allows us to combine multiple hotspots together.
We can even use Starlink if you’re planning somewhere REALLY remote.

Nope. We provide you with a private streaming page that is visible only to those with whom you’ve shared the link.

The online recording is available almost immediately and your downloadable recording is provided within 1 week.

Nope. We streamed for hundreds of people with no issues. As long as they have a device and connection, they’re all set.

If you have family and friends who you KNOW can’t make it, we recommend booking as far in advance as possible. Live streaming is an emergency need for most people and we consider that as well when scheduling.

We typically stream with 3 cameras, but sometimes use 4 if the situation requires it.

Yes. We typically provide 2-3 microphones to capture audio for the live stream and these are different than the mics your DJ will use to amplify sound through the speakers.

We provide the option to purchase a Digital Guest Book which allows guests to leave comments and well-wishes any time, not just during the live stream.

Our base package includes the ceremony and the reception is available as an add-on. Most ceremonies last about an hour and reception coverage is 3 hours.
